The Starship mission was developed by SpaceX, a firm based at the United States. SpaceX Starship system is a fully reusable, two-stage-to-orbit heavy-lift launch vehicle.
The system comprises of a booster stage called Super Heavy. The second stage of the vehicle is called as Starship.

The Union Cabinet gave ex-post facto approval to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and France on renewable energy cooperation.
The MoU was signed in the month of January 2021. The MoU involves exchange and training of scientific and technical personnel, information and data, organisation of workshops and seminars and development of joint research projects.

Simlipal biosphere reserve comprises of the Simlipal national park cum tiger reserve along with its adjoining areas.
It is located in the eastern end of the Eastern Ghats, in Odisha. The name ‘Simlipal’ is derived from ‘Simul’ meaning silk cotton tree. Recently, there was a wildfire in the National Park and is raging for nearly a week.

The President of India Ram Nath Kovind laid the foundation stone for the conservation works of Singorgarh Fort in Damoh district in Madhya Pradesh.

Ace India wrestler Vinesh Phogat has won the gold medal in 53kg event of the Matteo Pellicone Ranking Series event.
She has also clinched the position of world No.1 in international wrestling. Vinesh Phogat is the only woman wrestler from India to have qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The James Webb Space Telescope is being manufactured in collaboration between European Space Agency (ESA), Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and NASA.
It is a successor of NASA’s Hubble Telescope and will complement its discoveries. The telescope is scheduled for launch from French Guiana on an Ariane 5 rocket on 31 October 2021. NASA announced that two comprehensive systems tests have been completed by the testing teams.

French billionaire politician Olivier Dassault recently died in a helicopter crash occurred in northwest France.
He was also a member of the National Assembly of the country. He was a descendant of the Dassault aircraft-making family. The Dassault Aviation group is a leading French plane manufacturer. He was estimated to be the 361st most wealthy person on the planet.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat resigned recently. The 60-year-old leader tendered his resignation to Governor Baby Rani Maurya.
With only a year short of the state elections, the BJP legislature party in Uttarakhand is to meet shortly to choose a new leader. Trivendra Singh Rawat sworn in as the Chief Minister in the year 2017.
