Vrindavan Lal Verma
Vrindavan Lal Verma (9 January 1889 - 23 February 1969) was a Hindi novelist and playwright. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan for his literary works; The University of Agra awarded him the Honorary D.Litt. She received the Soviet Land Nehru Award and was also honored by the Government of India for her novel Rani to Jhansi. He has been fascinated by mythology and history since childhood. His masterpiece, Mrignayani, set in Gwalior in the late 15th century, tells the story of Man Singh Tomar and his "Do-Aid Queen" Mrignayani.
