Notes: The Naujawan Bharat Sabha was founded by Bhagat Singh in March 1926 and was declared illegal under the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1908 in September 1934. It was a left-wing organization which sought independence by gathering together worker and peasant youths. It was part of the Hindustan Republican Association.
