the leadership of Karam Shah and his son Tipu Shah, the armed members of this sect attacked the Zamindars. Initially, British agreed to Pagal Panthi demand, made arrangement to protect the cultivators from Zamindar. But later, launched massive military operation to suppress Pagal Panthis.
