The Harivamsha Purana of the 8th century gives a Jaina version of the stories of Krishna, Balarama, Pandavas, and Kauravas, among others. Whereas Trishashtilakshana Mahapurana contains not only life stories of various Jaina saints, kings, and heroes, but also contains discussions on certain topics including interpretation of dreams, life-cycle rituals, duties of a king and warrior etc.
