The Mount Everest also known as Sagarmatha in Nepal and Chomolongma in China of the height of 8848m (29,029ft) above sea level is the highest peak in the world. The Nepali name for Mount Everest is Sagarmatha, meaning "Godess of the Sky." It is largely composed of rugged terrain and gorges of the high Himalayas, ranging from 2,845 m (9,334 ft) at Monjo to the top of the world's highest peak Sagarmatha.
