Later, he was trailed in this Lahore Conspiracy Case when he was captured after throwing bomb in Delhi Assembly. In jail, the prisoners were brutally treated. Jatin Das died after a hunger strike lasting 64 days. Bhagat Singh,Rajguru and SukhDev were sentenced to death. This execution led to massive protests all over the country.
