Notes: During the reign of Sultan Muhammad-bin-Tughlaq, new kingdoms were formed in south India and the Deccan viz. Prolaya  Vema Reddy of the Reddy dynasty, Musunuri Kaapaaneedu, Vijayanagara Empire and the Bahmani kingdom. In 1347 AD, the  Bahmani kingdom was founded by Hasan Gangu.
