Notes: Kolattam is an art form of Andhra Pradesh played with sticks. It is a rural dance, a combination of rhythmic movements, songs and music usually performed during village festivals. Chholiya is a dance form practised in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It is basically a sword dance accompanying a marriage procession but now it is performed on many occasions.
