Mohammad-bin-Tughlaq
Muhammad bin Tughlaq established the Diwan-i-Amir-Kohi to enhance agriculture in the Doab, dividing it into development blocs for loan distribution and superior crop cultivation. He promoted crop rotation, new irrigation methods, and attempted a token currency system, which failed. His reign included the construction of canals and wells to support agriculture.
