PV Sindhu wins India Super Series tournament

Rio Olympics silver medallist P V Sindhu won the India Open Super Series title in women’s single category. In the final match, she defeated Rio Olympic champion Carolina Marin of Spain by 21-19, 21-16 score. Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen had won men’s singles title of the tournament after defeating Chinese Taipei’s Tien Chen Chou by 21-13, 21-10 score.
