Punjab PSC Recruitment 2018 for Medical Officer Posts

Punjab Public Service Commission has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Medical Officers. The total number of posts is 306 and the break-up of vacancies is given below. Candidates should have passed MBBS from a recognised university. The commission will hold an examination for the selection of these posts. The upper age limit for these posts is 37 years. About the Vacancies

Medical Officer (General) – 306 posts

Age Limit:

Minimum age is 18 years and should not be more than 37 years (As on 01.01.2018)

Educational Qualifications

Should have passed M.B.B.S.
Should be registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India
Knowledge of Punjabi Language upto 10th Standard or its equivalent. Candidates who do not possess this qualification shall have to acquire this qualification within six months of their joining.
