Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore Campaign 2024
The “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” campaign is set to take place from December 19 to December 24, 2024, as part of the Good Governance Week activities across India. It aims to enhance service delivery and address public grievances, particularly in rural areas.
Campaign Objectives

Launch and Participation
The campaign will be launched virtually in over 700 districts. Chief Secretaries, District Commissioners, and other officials will participate in the inaugural events. Key speakers will include representatives from states such as Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, and Bihar.
During the campaign, workshops will be conducted to discuss good governance and service delivery improvements. These workshops will involve local officials and community leaders, aiming to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge. The guidelines for conducting these workshops have been disseminated to all participating districts.
Dedicated Portal
A dedicated online portal, https://darpgapps.nic.in/GGW24, was launched on December 10, 2024. This portal aims to support the campaign by providing resources and information for both officials and citizens. It will facilitate the tracking of grievances and the sharing of best practices.
Activities and Success Stories
From December 19 to 24, states and union territories will organise various activities. These will include special camps to resolve public grievances and online complaint resolution. Success stories of effective grievance resolution will be shared to promote good governance practices.
On December 23, 2024, workshops will be held in all districts to discuss good governance practices. These sessions will highlight successful strategies and encourage collaboration among local officials to enhance service delivery.
