Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAYG) Dashboard
On February 22, 2022, Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Shri Giriraj Singh launched the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin Dashboard.
Key Points
- This dashboard will help in stringent monitoring of the scheme.
- It will be used by Stakeholders of PMAYG to monitor and manage the scheme.
- However, Minister have asked the officials to make portal public in order to make it ”Aam Janta Ka Portal”.
Zero tolerance against corruption
Dashboard will provide complete transparency in implementation of the scheme. Link of the dashboard will be reached from Sarpanchs of villages to Members of Parliament of constituencies, for monitoring the scheme.
End-to-End insight
The Dashboard will provide End-to-End insights, catering to analytical and strategic business intelligence needs and physical & financial progress of PMAY-G scheme. It also provides actionable insights including single screen visualization of entire financial and physical progress and state-level reports up to block level. It also analyses the gap or delays in release of instalments, category-wise data analysis to find out anomalies, speed of house construction, and discrepancies etc. It further illustrates the trend analysis for sanction and completion progress by means of dynamic and customizable data visualization with the help of business users.
Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G)
Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) was rolled out in April 2016, with the objective of providing “Housing to All” by 2024. The scheme seeks to complete 2.95 crore PMAY-G houses with all basic amenities. As of now, a total of 1.73 crores PMAY-G houses have been completed out of allocated cumulative target of 2.62 crore houses.
Aim of PMAY-G
The PMAY-G scheme aims to:
- Improving the speed and quality of houses construction
- Ensuring timely release of funds to beneficiaries
- Direct transfer of funds to beneficiaries’ accounts
- Technical assistance to beneficiaries
- Stringent monitoring through MIS-AwaasSoft and AwaasApp.
