Practo acquires Insta Health Solutions

Healthcare firm Practo has acquired has acquired hospital management software firm Insta Health Solutions for 12 million dollars.
Insta Health Solutions was founded by former top Wipro executive Ramesh Emani to improve the efficiency of doctors and hospitals across 15 countries.
After this acquisition, Insta will operate as a separate division of Practo and it will continue to be led by its founder Ramesh Emani.
Practo with this acquisition will integrate Insta’s product to its platform and give impetus to directly tap business from hospitals by providing them an option to use Insta’s product.
This would enable patients to find information about doctor availability across the hospital and do booking instantly without and do not wait once they reach to the hospital for their appointment.
Presently, Practo has over 10,000 hospitals on its platform and aiming to reach to 20,000 hospitals by the end 2015.  It provides an app and web services for scheduling appointments with doctors and also provides patients management solution for doctors to manage their patients and digital healthcare records.
It should be noted that Insta Health Solutions is third acquisition for Practo in year 2015 after it had acquired Delhi-based fitness tech start-up FitHo and start-up Genii.
