Powers to investigate still birth

Coroners in England and Wales may be given powers to investigate still births. They will find if any new ways can be found to investigate such deaths medically. This will help to assess baby death independently. In the UK, 9 babies out of 225 are still born every day. In such cases, the doctors are unable to provide a reason for the death of the baby.
