Political Activity attains momentum across the country

Political activities has gained momentum throughout the country as the last day of filing of nominations for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections is approaching. 91 constituencies, spread over 20 states and union territories, will go to polls in the first phase on the 11th April. The BJP on 23rd March announced another list of candidates, taking the total number to 286, so far, for the election to the 543-member Lok Sabha. The Congress has also announced another list of candidates, taking the total number to 218.
