Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has issued notifications for recruiting eligible candidates for Electrical/Electronics/Civil disciplines to join as Assistant Engineer Trainee. Essential Qualification

The candidates should have appeared in the corresponding paper of GATE 2018.

AET (Electrical)

B.E./B.Tech/ B.Sc in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) .

AET (Electronics)

B.E./B.Tech/ B.Sc in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Electrical Communication /Telecommunication Engg.

AET (Civil)

B.E./B.Tech/ B.Sc in Civil Engineering.

Age

Maximum: 28 years

Cut Off Date: 31.12.2019

Upper Age limit is relaxable by:

3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).

5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Persons with Disabilities Candidates:

Other Information

Pay Scale

• Pay scale of Rs.40,000-3%-140000(IDA) during the one-year training period.
• Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000 along with IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay during the training period.
• Engineers in E2 scale – Rs. 50,000- 3%- 1, 60,000 (IDA).
