Park Geun-hye becomes first woman South Korean President
In recent Presidential elections in South Korea, Park Geun-hye gained the victory to become country’s first woman President, daughter of the former military ruler, Park Chung-Hee.
Main challenges before Park:
- Conflict with North Korea
- Sluggish economy
- Surging Welfare costs
- Rapidly ageing society
