Paracetamol not effective for back pain: Research
As per a new research conducted by Sydney-based George Institute for Global Health, Paracetamol, the first line recommendation of doctors for managing back pain, doesn’t work to relieve the pain.
The findings contradict the paracetamol manufacturers and doctors’ treatment guidelines of recommending the tablet as a common pain reliever for back pain.
The research conducted a trial involving 1600 people with back pain and found no substantial scientific evidence that paracetamol was effective.
