Pacific Air Chiefs’ Symposium 2019 being held in Hawaii
The Chief of Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria is set to participate in Pacific Air Chiefs Symposium 2019 (PACS 2019) being held at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii (a state of USA). Theme for 2019’s symposium is: ‘A Collaborative Approach to Regional Security’.
About Pacific Air Chiefs’ Symposium 2019 (PACS 2019)
Objective: To further strengthen existing cooperation between Air Forces of participating countries and also to pave way for enhanced interaction in future.
Participants: United States of America is the host country for symposium. Air Chiefs from across the Indo-Pacific region are participating in the conference. In addition to USA, Air Chiefs from 20 countries are present at Symposium.
The participants will provide perspectives on common challenges faced as well as on shared mutual interests while focusing on relevant topics such as Domain Awareness, Regional Security, Multi-Domain Awareness, Interoperability and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR). The symposium will also entail discourse and discussions on combined effort required to maintain peace and security within Pacific region.
India at PACS 2019: Participation of Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria in PACS 2019 will provide impetus towards articulating and highlighting common regional challenges. It would also reaffirm India’s commitment to peace, prosperity, stability and security in Indo-Pacific region.
