Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzudeen

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzudeen by the Maldives. It is the Maldives highest honour for a foreign dignitary.

Prime Minister Modi was awarded in recognition of the services he has performed to cement the longstanding, amicable ties between the two countries, and for the magnanimous assistance that the Indian government has continued to provide the Maldives.
