October 20: World Statistics Day

The World Statistics Day was celebrated for the first time in 2010. It was declared by the United Nations Statistical Commission. It is celebrated once in 5 years. India celebrates Statistics Day on 29^th June, on the birthday of the legend statistician Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis.
