NuGen Mobility Summit 2019 to be held in Manesar, Haryana

The three-day NuGen Mobility Summit 2019 will be held in Manesar, Haryana from November 27 to 29, 2019. It will be organized by International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Manesar based on the theme “Smart & Green Mobility” to find alternative mobility solutions to problems like pollution emanating from vehicular emissions. It will be inaugurated by Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) Nitin Gadkari.

About NuGen Mobility Summit, 2019

Organized by: International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) in association with SAENIS, SAE INDIA, SAE International, NATRiP, DIMTS, Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, SIAM and ACMA. 

Objective: To provide a platform for sharing new ideas, learnings, global experiences, innovations and future technology trends for faster adoption, assimilation and development of advanced automotive technologies for a smarter and greener future.

Key Features of Summit: It aims to bring together the automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), professionals, researchers, academic experts, vehicle system suppliers, test equipment supplier, quality managers, product planners, component developers, SAE members and students from all over the world.

It will aim to identify trends and roadmap for the future of sustainable mobility in the country and to address the challenges faced by various stakeholders. It seeks to build a platform for bringing together all stakeholders in the automotive industry to understand global advancements in technologies.

Participation: More than 2,500 participants and over 250 exhibitors from 14 countries apart form India are expected to take part in the summit.

About International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Manesar

It is division of NATRIP Implementation Society (NATIS) under the Department of Heavy Industries, Government of India. It was established in 2006 at Manesar, Haryana.

Mandate: (i) Provide leading world class services for testing, validation, design and homologation of all categories of vehicles (ii) To assist the automotive industry in adopting cutting edge technologies in vehicle evaluation and component development. (ii) To support automotive industries for ISO/IEC 17025:2005 implementation and NABL accreditation of their laboratories.
