NRIs set up first NaMo tea stall in Silicon valley, USA
The Indian-American professionals from many IT companies viz. Microsoft, Cisco, Apple, eBay, Oracle, etc. set up the first NaMo tea stall in Silicon valley, USA.
Objective: To extend their support to BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for the Lok Sabha polls.
To make use of latest technology to cut power transmission losses in India, fully computerizing the process of government tenders and providing technological aid to Indian farmers. They will compile all the suggestions discussed and send them to a team formed by BJP in India.
These professionals met at Indian tea-stall in Ortega Park in Sunnyvale as part of the volunteer group – “I Care for India”. There they discussed the role of technology in solving Governance issues in India. Such as:
- Use the latest technology to cut power transmission losses in India
- Fully computerize the process of government tenders and provide technological aid to Indian farmers.
All these suggestions would send to a team formed by BJP in India to support BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Note: NaMo Tea stalls or ‘Chai pe charcha’ programmes are to interact with the public of India and to take suggestions from the public on the various issues related to the progress of the country viz. good governance, etc. This mega outreach programme is a part of Mr. Narendra Modi’s (BJP’s prime ministerial candidate) election campaign for the Lok Sabha elections due by May, 2014.
