Novak Djokovic wins 4th Rome Masters title of Tennis
World no 1 Novak Djokovic from Serbia has won his fourth Rome Masters Tennis Men’s single title.
In the final match, he defeated world no 2 Roger Federer from Switzerland with score of 6-4, 6-3. With this win, Djokovic earned 1000 Emirates ATP ranking points.
Maria Sharapova from Russia won the Rome Masters Tennis Women’s single title. In the final match she defeated Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain 4-6, 7-5, 6-1. It is Sharapova’s 35th WTA Tour title in her career.
Men’s double title was won by Pablo Cuevas (Uruguay) and David Marrero (Spain) pair. In the final match they defeated Spanish pair of Marcel Granollers and Marc López by score of 6-4, 7-5.
While woen’s double title was won by Tímea Babos (Italy) and Kristina Mladenovic (France) pair. In the final match they defeated Sania Mirza (India) and Martina Hingis (Switzerland) pair by score of 6-4, 6-3.
