Noted Malayalam film maker Diphan passes away

Noted Malayalam film director Diphan passed away after prolonged illness. He was 45. He was son of award winning veteran Malayalam film dubbing artist Anandavalli who had dubbed for over 200 heroines in Malayalam cinema. Diphan had started his career as an assistant to noted action director Shaji Kailas who dominated Malayalam cinema in 1990’s and early 2000. Diphan started as an independent director with the political drama titled Leader (2003). Subsequently he directed Puthiya Mugham (2009), Hero, SIM, Gangs of Vadakkumnathan and The Dolphins.
