Bharti Airtel announced a 7,500 crore INR multi-year agreement with Nokia to deploy its Single Radio Access Network in India.

Nokia’s SRAN or Single Radio Access Network is a 4G network solution that is aimed at reducing complexity while increasing the cost efficiency. The solution provides benefits by reducing the TCO costs by 30% and energy consumption by 44%.
About the Agreement
Nokia, the telecommunication gear maker has come to a 7,500 crore INR agreement with Bharti Airtel to deploy SRAN in 9 circles in India. This is to enhance the network capacity and improve customer experience. The deployment will support the introduction of 5G connectivity in the future.
