India to launch “Lighthouse Tourism”

On July 7, 2020, the Union Minister of State for Shipping shri Mansukh Mandaviya held a high-level meeting to develop 194 lighthouses into major tourist attractions. This will boost tourism activities and also will provide opportunities to learn about the enriched history of lighthouses.
