New “Standing Wave Axial Nanometry (SWAN)” measures single biological molecules
- An Indian-origin scientist and his colleagues at Iowa State University and Ames Laboratory in the US have developed a new technology called “Standing Wave Axial Nanometry (SWAN)” that can precisely measure single biological molecules.
- It is a mix of Optical and Atomic forces technologies.
