NBC Suit

NBC or Nuclear Biological and Chemical permeable protective clothing are used to protect the wearer against harmful chemical or biological agents and radioactive fallout dust. These can be worn for extended periods and used by soldiers while operating in hostile combat environment. Recently, the Defence Research Development Establishment developed a national standard for NBC suits, making India the 4th country to have developed such a standard after USA, UK and Germany.
