National Logistics Excellence Awards
First National Logistics Excellence Awards was hosted by Government of India in New Delhi. Union minister Piyush Goyal and minister of state for commerce and industry Som Parkash rma presented awards in 12 categories.
About National Logistics Excellence Awards
- National Logistics Excellence Awards are presented with the aim of acknowledging many logistics service providers in India, that have been able to display innovation, efficiency and diversity.
- The first edition comprises of 169 entries and 12 categories for awards.
- Commerce and Industries Ministry undertook a year-long process to identify, categorise, and select qualified applications.
- An expert screening committee, comprising of 18 diverse experts as well as a national jury of 9 senior dignitaries was created to make final deliberations.

- Best Cargo Airline & Terminal Operator award was given to FedEx Express Transportation and Supply Chain Services (India)
- Best Road Freight Service Provider award was given to DHL Supply Chain India
- Best Rail Freight Service Provider award was given to Adani Logistics
- Best Shipping & NVOCC service Provider award was given to Maersk India
- Best Port Service Provider award was given to DP World
- Best Warehouse Service Provider award was given to Transport Corporation of India Ltd.
- Best Cold Chain/Refrigerated service provider award was given to Transport Corporation of India
- Best Express Logistics Service Provider award was given to Safexpress
- Best Logistics Infrastructure and Service Provider award was given to Adani Logistics
- Best Freight Forwarder award was given to Kuehne + Nagel
- Best Customs House Agent/Customs Broker award was given to International Clearing & Shipping Agency (India)
- Industry Excellence Award was given to Sun Pharmaceutical Industries
Background
The National Logistics Excellence Awards was launched on July 19, 2021, in a bid to turn spotlight on the logistics sector. It was instituted to provide due recognition to various players involved in logistics supply chain in India.
