38th National Games 2025 Unveiled in Dehradun

The 38th National Games will take place in Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14, 2025, revealing the mascot, logo, jersey, anthem, and tagline for the event at Maharana Pratap Sports College in Dehradun. The Indian Olympic Association (IOA), led by President PT Usha, confirmed the inclusion of traditional sports such as yoga and mallakhamb.

Mascot and Logo

The mascot, named Mauli, draws inspiration from the Monal, Uttarakhand’s state bird, embodies the region’s cultural heritage, and aims to motivate young athletes. The logo, also featuring the Monal, marks Uttarakhand’s natural beauty and diversity. Both elements reflect the spirit of the Games and the state’s identity.

Tagline and Theme

The tagline for the Games is Sankalp Se Shikhar Tak, which translates to From Resolve to Zenith. This phrase puts stress on the commitment to excellence and perseverance in sports. It serves as a motivational call for athletes participating in the event.

Uttarakhand will host over 10,000 athletes, officials, and coaches from across India. Participants will compete in 38 different sports, including teams from various institutions like the Services. The event aims to encourage sportsmanship and unity among competitors.
