NATGRID will come into operation by 2020

The ambitious National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID) project will came into effect from December 31, 2020.  It will enable multiple security and intelligence agencies a database related to immigration entry or exit, banking and telephone details etc from a common platform.  The project links various investigation agencies such as RAW and IB.  At least 100 Central government agencies will have access to the data on a secured platform.
