NABARD partners with Germany for food security initiative

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has entered into collaboration with German Government for a special programme on Soil Protection and Rehabilitation for Food Security‘.
The programme is part of the German government’s recently introduced special initiative ‘One World, No Hunger’ initiative.
As part of the collaboration NABARD is anchoring two programmes viz.

  • Soil conservation and rehabilitation of degraded land programme in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
  • Innovation of watershed development and climate change adaptation programmes in five states Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

Germany’s ‘One World, No Hunger’ addresses areas such as food and nutrition security, protection and sustainable use of natural resources in rural areas, promotion of innovation and promotion of responsible land use and access to land. India is the only country in Asia chosen for this initiative.

    One world , No hunger cool concept. We should love to share with our human kind with what we have.
