MoU for Phase 2 of e-Office Execution between Indian Railways and RailTel
Indian Railways with Mini Ratna Public Sector Undertakings under Ministry of Railways, RailTel has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the phase 2 of the project, after the accomplishment of Phase 1 of National Informatics Centre e-office for 50,000 users in 58 unit’s successful completion.
In Phase 2, till 30th June 2020, the RailTel will register 39,000 users over 34 Railway divisions on the NIC e-office platform while in Phase 1 execution of NIC e-office work has started with a target set to be completed by March 2020.
Umesh Balonda (ED/TD )represented the Railway Board, and Mrs. Haritima Jaipuriar (GM/IT project) of RailTel Corporation signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
RailTel, with a quick speed, created 50,000+ users in 58 units of Indian Railways ahead of time and also trained the executives to manage the platform in a span of fewer than 6 months’ time.
One of the most urgent needs of the world is to reduce the carbon footprint and paper-less culture which is encouraged by e-office is directly influencing every citizen of the country.
