Mission LIFE

Mission LIFE or Livelihood Inclusion and Financial Empowerment is a project under the Kerala government and it envisages the construction of homes for homeless people. It is a comprehensive housing scheme that aims to provide safe housing facilities for over 4 lakh landless and homeless people in the state within a 5 year period. Coastal population, people living in temporary shelters and plantation workers are to be prioritised. Recently, the Supreme Court issued a notice to the CBI on a plea from the project’s CEO.
