Mission Karmayogi Aims to Transform India’s Civil Services by 2047
India is steadily working to reach its Viksit Bharat goals by 2047. It is putting a lot of effort into improving the manufacturing sector, increasing the number of value-added services it offers, and becoming a more important global source of human resources.
Mission Karmayogi: Reinventing Civil Services
Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the National Program for Civil Services Capacity Building, which aims to make India’s civil workers much better at what they do. Mission Karmayogi aims to create a system that is focused on the needs of citizens, ready for the future, and focused on results by making all levels of government more efficient.
What is the Capacity Building Commission (CBC)?
The CBC was created in 2021 and is a key part of Mission Karmayogi. It provides important policy advice and tools to improve the skills of the civil service. To make specific courses for government servants, the commission works with different ministries and training centers.
PM Gati Shakti and Infrastructure Boost
The PM Gati Shakti platform is a strategic plan to bring together project planning from different areas to speed up the building of infrastructure, introducing a “whole of government” method. This project has greatly sped up the building of roads and rail lines while still taking environmental concerns into account.
Training and Development Under CBC
Together with many schools and government departments, the CBC has put together a wide range of online classes. These courses focus on digital skills like AI, Big Data, and GIS applications that are necessary for modernizing government services. Police and railway workers have also been given thorough training to improve how they interact with the people and the services they provide.
