Military Tattoo & Tribal Dance Festival

Aadi Shaurya – Parv Parakram Ka, a Military Tattoo and Tribal Dance Festival, will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in New Delhi on January 23 and 24, 2023. This event is being organized by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, with the Indian Coast Guard serving as the coordinating agency.

Overview of the Festival

As part of the Republic Day Celebrations 2023 and to mark the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose (celebrated as Parakram Diwas), this festival will showcase the prowess of the Armed Forces and the ethnic beauty of India’s tribal culture. Festival Program

The festival program includes a Military Tattoo featuring paramotor gliding, hot air ballooning, a horse show, a motor cycle display, an air warrior drill, and a performance by the Navy Band. There will also be an hour of traditional dance performances by tribal artists from across the country, including the Khukhri Dance, Gatka, Mallakhamb, Kalaripaytu, and Thangta. The grand finale will feature a performance by famous singer Shri Kailash Kher.
