Military Literature Festival organised in Chandigarh

The third edition of coveted Military Literature Festival (MLF) is being held from 13 to 15 December at UT Lake Club, Chandigarh. The military literature extravaganza was inaugurated by Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore. The festival would bring together the finest men from battle grounds and literary fields to discuss watershed of information on defence issues.

The land of Punjab has borne the brunt of ruthless invaders since times immemorable, thus to honour and commemorate the legendary bravery and sacrifices of people from this great land, the Military Literature Festival is organized annually.

About Military Literature Festival 2019

The Fest was led by Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh with discussions in various aspects of military and sharing his experiences of serving country in armed forces. All three days also had Clarion Call theatre events comprising of special audio visual shows on ‘Josh’, ‘Jazbaaa’ and ‘Junoon’ of being part of armed forces.

The festival will be marked by presence of legendary litterateur Sir Mark Tully, historian Pushpesh Pant, Ramon Magsaysay awardee Ravish Kumar as well as gallantry award winners and defence experts. At the event panel discussions on subjects ranging from military histories to wars to current cyber security concerns were witnessed. It also encapsulated stories of battleground from gallantry awards winners that will be shared during Samvad.
