Megan Schutt becomes first women cricketer to take two Hat-Tricks

Australia fast bowler Megan Schutt has become the first woman cricketer to claim two hat-tricks in white-ball cricket (limited over matches). She achieved this feat against West Indies in the third ODI.

Megan Schutt’s Spell of 3/24 (9.3 Overs) helped Australia to beat West Indies by eight wickets in the third game of the five-match series. She dismissed the trio of Chinelle Henry, Karishma Ramharack and Afy Fletcher.

With the hat-trick against West Indies, Megan Schutt has become the first Australian women to claim a hat-trick in ODIs.

First Hat-trick

Megan Schutt’s first hat-trick was against India in a T20 game. In her first hat-trick, she had dismissed Indian opener Smriti Mandhana and skipper Mithali Raj and Deepti Sharma at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
