Max Verstappen: Youngest ever F1 driver

Youngest F1 Driver16-year old Max Verstappen is set to create history by becoming the youngest ever Formula One (F1) driver next season after Toro Rosso announced that the youngster will replace Jean-Éric Vergne. Verstappen is a Dutch and is son of the former F1 driver Jos. He has been racing this season in the European F3 Championship, having graduated from karts in 2013. He joined Red Bull’s junior programme in August 2014 but was confirmed to replace Vergne for next season.
To date, the Spaniard Jaime Alguersuari, who made his debut, at the age of 19, with the same Red Bull-owned team in 2009 is the youngest driver in the history of the sport.
