Mark Boucher bids adieu international cricket
Mark Boucher, the South African wicket keeper, has retired from international cricket after undergoing surgery for eye injury he received on the opening day against Somerset when a googly from Imran Tahir, hit the stumps and a dislodged ball hit Boucher in the left eye.
South African captain Graeme Smith read Boucher’s statement announcing his retirement. Boucher concluded his international cricket journey with a record 998 international dismissals.
