Caravan Tourism Policy received Maharashtra cabinet nod recently. This policy seeks to provide incentives to the promote pandemic-hit tours and travel sector. Under this policy, caravans and caravan parks will undergo registration with the tourism directorate. Caravan parks, where caravans will be parked, will be equipped with basic amenities.
