Recently, the Madhav National Park in Madhya Pradesh was officially declared India’s 58th tiger reserve. This announcement was made by Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav. Madhav National Park is the ninth tiger reserve in Madhya Pradesh, denoting the state’s commitment to wildlife conservation. The reserve currently houses five tigers, including two recently born cubs. The government plans to introduce two more tigers to enhance the population.
