LRSAM
The Long Range Surface-to-Air Missile (LRSAM) is a joint endeavour of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Israel Aerospace Industries. This missile system provides point and area defence against various aerial targets like fighter aircraft, subsonic and supersonic cruise missiles. It is powered by indigenously-made dual-pulse rocket motor and dual control system to enable manoeuvrability at the terminal phase. The final production batch of these missiles was flagged off at A P J Abdul Kalam Missile Complex.
