Lok Sabha adopts resolution condemning 26/11 accused Lakhvi's bail

Lok Sabha has unanimously adopted a resolution condemning the grant of bail to 26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi.
This resolution was called upon by government in order to pressurize Pakistan to punish the guilty. It will also help to take all necessary steps including coordination with other countries to pressurize Pakistan.
The resolution has also urged Pakistan government to appeal against the bail.
India also has asked Pakistan to reverse its decision of granting bail to the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad.
Background
Rawalpindi court had granted bail to Lakhvi, who is one of the seven accused in the 2008 Mumbai terror attack which killed 166 people and wounded over 300 others.
He is believed to be the operations leader of the banned terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, and is on the NIA Most Wanted list.
