Kisan Suryoday Yojana

Kisan Suryoday Yojana is an agriculture scheme launched in 2020 to provide electricity to farmers in the daytime for irrigation purpose. It is a centrally sponsored scheme that covers the farmers in Gujarat. It is a 3,500 crore INR scheme that provides solar power to the farmers to encourage the expanse of irrigated land. The state itself has 2 irrigations schemes: Sujalam Sufalam and the Saurashtra-Narmada Avtaran Irrigation or SAUNI yojana.
