Kirti Chakra to Army Major Abup J Manjali
Major Abup J Manjali of the Rashtriya Rifles has been awarded the Kirti Chakra on this Republic Day for the exhibition of exceptional valor in counter- terrorist operations in Jammu and Kashmir.
Manjali is the only soldier to be awarded the second- highest peacetime gallantry award Kirti Chakra on this Republic Day.
