Kalyani M4

A Pune-based defence company Bharat Forge received Rs.177.95 crores order for Kalyani M4 armoured vehicles from the Ministry of Defence. This armoured vehicle was tested in Ladakh during the standoff with China. It provides mobility for the armed forces in rough terrain and in areas affected by mines and IED threats. This vehicle has thrust speed of 140 km per hour and a payload capacity of 2.3 tonnes. Its operating range is around 800 km.
